UNF

My son Hunter and I decided to grab the "tract pack" and head out to UNF (University of North Florida) with a couple friends to hand out gospel tracts four a couple hours. There were so many of you students out there from all walks of life, and I want to write this post to you and your fellow classmates.
Everyone was scurrying from class to class... If they didn't have a bag of junk food or can of soda in their hands, then they had the cell phone jammed in their ear. Sometimes both! Most of the students accepted our message and tracts really well. However, there were a few who were sure of their eternal direction no matter how lost they truly are. They would rather maintain the course. Specifically the two young ladies who were with one guy, cursing and voicing their position, with no need to be so foul. I even heard threats of using keys as brass knuckles against my buddy John. No worries John! Remember Matthew 5:10...
Whats really sad though, is that most of the students don't really get the message. They are just too 'smart', or so they think, to listen to what is true and what is good for them. Its as ridiculous as if a person who has one side or view on an historical event from their own formed opinion, were to stand up in class and dispute the professor's lesson, even though they had not read about or studied what the prof is talking about. How intelligent is that?
Does it make any sense to debate or oppose something that you know very little about, with someone who lives their life for it? You have one opening in your head to speak and two to hear. Try using the two, instead of the one.

So many of these college students are seeking the answers to having a good job, or making a lot of money, and haven't got a clue or care about eternal life or death. I'd say that its a safe statement that some of them understand statistics... Like, "10 out of 10 people die". There's a stat for you to debate... How about 100 out of 100 people die? What if it said "10 out of 10 doctors agree, that 100 out of 100 people die"? Would it mean anything more or become any more real?
Well its true. Everyone you have ever known or will ever meet is destined to die. Did you know that even says that in the Bible? The first part of Hebrews 9 says "...it is appointed to men to die once". However, the $1M question I ask you today is, what happens to you after you die?
Its a simple answer really. If, and ONLY if, you repent (turn from sin) and trust Jesus, (live your life for Him) then you will see the kingdom heaven (John 3:3 and 3:5). However, if you do anything other than that, you go to hell. John 3:18 - "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God".
I've heard enough people tell me that they do not believe in God, or heaven and hell. That's as foolish as if I were to say "Well I don't believe in trucks", but if I step out in front of one, I will surely believe that trucks exist then. Those who choose to 'pretend' not to believe now, will surely meet up with there destination upon death and judgment. I say 'pretend', because you know there is a God of the Bible. You know He exists. You have proof, because you exist. Denying Him doesn't make Him go away. As it does not validate your blasphemous view of Christianity.

God's Word says "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:". - Hebrews 9:27
We are not only judged by God for our actions, but we are judged by our thoughts and our secrets as well. - Paul wrote "In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel." (Romans 2:16) There is nothing hidden from God. When you sin, you sin against Him. He judges us by His standards (The Ten Commandments), and pays all of us the wages we are entitled to for living sinful lives and working against Him. "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" - Romans 6:23

God hates sin. He will destroy it, and everything associated with it in the end. Sooner than later, His wrath will strike. No one knows. It will be when ever He is ready. He will not miss this. He is perfect, holy, and sovereign over every creature and over anything made by hands. He warns us that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night - 1Thes 5:2. "While people are saying, "There is peace and security," then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape" (1Thes 5:3) Even when labor is induced, we still do not know when the pains will come. The point here is, you need to get ready. Being young does not necessarily mean that you have a long wonderful life ahead. Just ask all those poor little sick children in Wolfson's children's hospital. No one plans to get sick and die. There is no guarantee of long life. Even people who eat right and work out regularly die. "Hundreds of guys -- including some of the world's fittest men -- have taken their final breaths while wearing running shoes." - Men's Health Magazine.com

Wouldn't you much rather have eternal life than to be sent to hell for eternal damnation?
There is nothing wrong with a little reading the books you learn from, but try reading the Word of God. The Bible. You will have much more to profit in the long run, and for those of you who like a challenge, you will have more challenges that you can handle! Most important of all, you must repent and trust Jesus, or you will never see the kingdom of heaven. Do it now before its too late!

If you want, you may Email me and I will help you. If I can pass out tracts at your university, then I surely have time to help you.
