We just got back home from the Budweiser Shootout. It was great to see all of those race fans again. Connie and I are huge NASCAR fans! I'm not going to mention my team until I reach the bottom of the post, because some of you fanatics will run away scared before you finish reading this.First, I wanted to thank all of you who received a 'free ticket' to heaven from me and came to this blogspot. You NASCAR fans are much more polite then the NFL fans we shared the gospel with last weekend.
Hey listen... I know the message I gave you seems offensive. I know people don't really want to know the truth about life and death, but it does me or you no good to water down or even hold back the true message for the sake of hurting your feelings. Its a fact that 10 out of 10 people die. Even the great Dale Earnhardt died while blocking as his team won the 500 while we all watched just a few years ago. Who would have ever thought is would happen that way. The Intimidator dies at the track that gave him so much trouble? I was very sad and in disbelief when that happened. I was a huge Dale Sr. fan. I quit watching NASCAR for a year after he died. So there's more proof that nothing lasts forever. The Bible says in Hebrews that all men are appointed to die once, and then comes the judgment. I'm sure you have read the good person test on the back of that ticket I gave you... How will you fare when your day of judgment comes? Will you go to heaven or hell? The Bible says that people who do not do the will of the Father go to hell. Its just that simple. I didn't write the rules, I just love the sovereign God who did, and live my life by those rules. I want to go to heaven. I do not want to be like many people will be, according to the Bible... In Matthew 7:21-23 Jesus tells us that "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. "On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' "And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness."
Workers of Iniquity or Lawlessness? Its sin. Those who practice lawlessness (sin) will be judged and be sent to hell for eternity. Its serious and its unavoidable (Romans 6:23). Unless you do two things. The only way out from under God's wrath is to repent (turn from sin immediately and continuously) and trust in Jesus. Be born again (John 3:3) and live your life for Him. You must also read your Bible every day. I hope you made it to this blog Gloria. I enjoyed talking to you very much. I know you understood the message. I hope you read that Bible I gave you from cover to cover and read it every day.
